Hey everyone! It's the end of the year, which means out with 2017 and in with 2018. Of course, this means a new year filled with new things, which also includes new anime! I usually do a New Year's Resolution-focused post, but I thought I'd switch things up this time around. Instead, I'd like to share a very short post that showcases the anime I watched in 2017; the one's I enjoyed the most. As a disclaimer, the following anime weren't necessarily ones that aired this year, but were ones I decided to watch this year. I'm posting them here, because I want to recommend them to you all! Being able to share your true self with another person is the greatest companionship. Being an otaku isn't always an easy thing. In fact, living a normal life is probably easier. Many otaku have the urge to hide their interests from friends, family, and romantic partners. To be honest, it's easy to understand. Growing up in different parts of the world, it's often hard to find like-minded individuals, and it's horrible getting shunned or left behind because of one's interests. Many otaku turn to the internet to find others like them, but there's also other outlets in the form of conventions, meet ups, clubs, and hang outs. For instance, I am an otaku that consistently felt different from others, as little to no people shared my interests. However, participating in my local anime scene, blogging and connecting to people online has changed that quite a bit for me. Just because you're an otaku, doesn't mean you can't have good romance! Although many bloggers reach out to those who are currently in the anime community and have a decent knowledge of it, we sometimes forget about those who are just picking it up. Maybe they haven't seen many series or maybe their primary source of anime was from television, whatever it may be, we should focus more on helping others enter the anime world. Everyone has a favorite anime, or a list of anime that they really like. While we debate about favorites and sometimes dislike others, I thought it'd be a great idea to share a few of my favorite anime with my readers. It's not only as a way to get to know me better, but as a list of recommendations for those who happen to stumble upon this post. In order to keep this post easy to view and read, I'll just post a picture of my favorites accompanied by a title, a link to the My Anime List page of the anime, and a little summary of why I enjoy it. Yeah, I know it's a little late for this post, but better late than never. Last year, I watched a couple of anime series, some I liked and some I didn't. A few stood out above the rest and thus became my favorites. I  hope I can watch even more great anime this year, and have a bigger list than this one. Also, I'd like to say that this list excludes a few anime I haven't finished, so who knows, I might do a separate post for each one. As always, stay tuned! It's the holiday season, and there's no better way to spend it than watching anime episodes with our friends and family! I really love this season, and I love when anime that are airing about this time include an episode focused on Christmas, or other such things. Although there are many anime that do this, ones which I have and haven't seen, I have a few that are absolutely my favorites! Here's my list of favorite anime with holiday episodes! Super Sonico the Animation "A Saint Comes to Town" Fuuri and Sonico dressed for Christmas! This anime may have been written off or looked down upon by many viewers, but I can say that I loved it. It was bright, colorful, and full of lessons and jokes all throughout. Certain times its somewhat difficult to continuously buy manga and anime. When it comes to this, people usually are forced to obtain said products using underhanded methods. While that's a great way to constantly intake different series, its definitely not for me. Since buying is out, I decided to take a quick trip to my nearest library where they conveniently stock manga. I'm sure some of you have heard of this series before; I have as well, but this is my first time actually checking it out. The story is pretty simple, a college student by the name of Keiichi Morisato, ends up calling the Goddess Helpline by accident. Surprisingly he talks to a real goddess, by the name of Belldandy. Eventually he wishes for Belldandy to remain with him forever, thus the story begins. Of course they get wrapped up in all sorts of events. The series began kind of rocky and the copy from the library definitely looked it's age, but it was readable. Still, I was interested enough that...
