Everyone has a favorite anime, or a list of anime that they really like. While we debate about favorites and sometimes dislike others, I thought it'd be a great idea to share a few of my favorite anime with my readers. It's not only as a way to get to know me better, but as a list of recommendations for those who happen to stumble upon this post. In order to keep this post easy to view and read, I'll just post a picture of my favorites accompanied by a title, a link to the My Anime List page of the anime, and a little summary of why I enjoy it. I'll try to keep these thoughts to about a paragraph of length so this post isn't text heavy.  As forewarning, if you don't like the anime I'm about the post, it's completely okay. Yamada's being....a little silly at the moment. I got the idea from some other bloggers, and decided to make my own list. I'd like to say that I really enjoyed the 2013 anime year. I usually don't keep up with the newest anime, and most of the ones I know are older and long gone. Just a quick warning, these are based on my own opinion and tastes. You may disagree with me, or you may not. I don't rate series on the quality of the artwork, story, or such. I judge them based on whether I enjoyed them or not. Also, this list is in no order. Suisei no Gargantia Possibly my favorite out of all the anime I watched this year. I loved this anime, as the story kept me on my toes with it's constant twists and turns. One second everything about the story seems clear, and the next it's swapped. This anime also teaches a good lesson about things not being what they seem. On the next episode, of Dragon Ball Z! After finally finding the time to write, (as well as time for watching anime) it's time for the next episode of Suisei no Gargantia! For a quick recap, our main man Ledo has unexpectedly found himself on the planet of Gargantia. He so far has no way of getting home and has to deal with his current circumstances. Deciding to assist the place and people he currently knows, he uses Chamber to defeat the invading pirates. Instead of just merely incapacitating the targets, he instead reduces them to dust. The once feared pirates are now reduced to nothing, and the battle has ended...but at what costs? In this episode we find the citizens of Gargantia to be more upset with Ledo than pleased. Ledo really doesn't understand what the problem is, which is completely understandable; he is a soldier after all. Yes, this is Earth.    Hey guys and gals, it's time for second edition of Suisei no Gargantia! From the previous episode, Ledo lost contact with the rest of his comrades and is stranded on an unknown planet. Not knowing the language or any means of communication, he decides to that taking a  hostage (Amy) would be the best plan of action. He gets chased down for a few minutes, and eventually has to call on Chamber for assistance.    Well, the next episode continues directly from the cliffhanger. Ledo finds himself under the watchful eye of the citizens. Chamber manages to express that they mean no harm, but they still lack a form of efficient communication.       Many of the people are dumbfounded by the fact that a robot is speaking on it's own, and Ridget, the aide to the Fleet Commander, goes as far as calling the supposed person  inside out of hiding.
