Shooting Star Dreamer

Support the Artist! Hello everyone, and happy Springtime! I'm currently enjoying Spring Break right now, along with tons of other people, and hopefully you're having a good time as well! Spring is known for a lot of things: warmer weather, flowers, rain, and more. However in Japan, the sign of Spring is more simple; Cherry blossoms (also known as Sakura). Cherry blossoms are bright pink flowers that bloom in Spring. They're featured in a lot of different anime, art work of Japan, and other such mediums. In fact, we have cherry blossoms here in the United States. Since Spring is here, I've taken the time to provide you all with wonderful sakura-themed wallpapers for your computer needs. All the wallpapers featured are safe for work and at least 1080p size, allowing most users to have a high quality background. All credit is given to the artists of these beautiful images, and if any of them have a problem with their art being included in this pack, please cont...

Support the Artist! Hello everyone, and long time no see. It's nice to be able to write for you all again! Although Shooting Star Dreamer went on hiatus for a brief period of time, this website is still very much alive. Before jumping into some new topics and discussions, I'd like to keep this post pretty light with a focus on giving; especially since we're in the holiday season. Due to the high popularity of previous image packs and wallpaper showcases I have decided make another. This time, it's specifically themed around winter icons: snow, warm clothes, and the night-time sky! As always, the images included in the wallpaper pack are completely safe for work and can be used without worry. If you have questions about the artists please make use of a wonderful tool by the name of SauceNao . This image searcher is very useful for finding sources. To see a preview of the images and to download the full pack, please follow this link. For comments or con...

Support the Artist! Hey everyone! I know it's been a long time since my last post. It's basically due to the fact that I've been extremely busy. Among all the chaos, I felt like I've forgotten something important; my blog. Without posting and interacting with my readers, my life feels like it's missing something very important. So, I would like to take the time to make a short update post today just to give you all a little thank you for not abandoning Shooting Star Dreamer. Luckily, after coming back from that hiatus, my blog template seems to be doing better than usual. A lot of the old mishaps have been fixed, which I hope helps my readers. If you have any concerns, please comment or contact me, and I will do my best to resolve your issue. With enough about that, what's going on recently? Halloween is just right around the corner and unfortunately I may not be able to make a Halloween-themed post for now. However, I have a nice topic that fits into ...

Happy Easter anime fans and otaku! Although Easter means different things depending on where you come from or what you believe, let's focus on the usagi (bunny or rabbit) part of the holiday at this time.  Who knows, maybe you can learn a little bit of Japanese along the way? As you know in anime, the presence of animals in the form of cute anime girls or boys is very common. We have cats and dogs that appear in anime like Dog Days, donning nekomimi and inumimi. (Which is translated to cat ears and dog ears. Inu and neko are dog and cat respectively, and mimi is the Japanese word for ears.) Going even further would be someone who is the actual animal, which is then labeled as neko musume. This translates to cat girl or cat daughter, and characters usually possess many animal-like traits. Examples of such would be Felicia from DarkStalkers, or Shizuka Nekonome from Rosario + Vampire. However, the common cats and dogs are not the main topic. Today we are focusing mostly on b...

Good evening everyone! The holiday season continues, and I'm bringing you yet another pack of images. This time, it's a pack of beautiful anime wallpapers! Even the Christmas Eve and Christmas is here and ending soon, feel free to keep the decorations up until the end of year! That's how I do things anyways! Like before, the images will be divided in three different parts. The first will be a link to the gallery, featuring every single image separately. Feel free to browse if you want insight into what you're downloading before you actually take action. The second will be a link to a zip file containing the full wallpaper pack, and the third will be a website to easily find the source of images. It's perfect for those who like an image so much they want to find the other work of an author. Like always, I try not to include any images that are questionable, so feel free to download. Hopefully you all enjoy the Anime Xmas Wallpapers and enjoy the holiday season...

Hello everyone! Hopefully you all are enjoying the holiday season and soon to come Xmas! As my gift to you, I'd like to give you all something more than a few renders. This time, you're getting a whole lot of Anime Xmas Pictures! Instead of just giving you all a wallpaper pack, I decided that I wanted to share some of these images with others, instead of keeping them all for myself. So here they are, various images of various characters in various sizes. The only thing not various about them is the theme and quality! The images will be divided into three different ways. I'll post a link to each one of course. The first will feature an online gallery of all the images, made for easy browsing and for those who like to see before downloading. The second will feature the zip file of the image folder, with all the images at your leisure. The third will be a link to one of my favorite sourcing websites, in case you want to find the artist of a particular image. So hopefu...

To know what's going on please check my previous post! With that being said... Today I've also compiled a Halloween Wallpaper pack for you all! It contains many anime images, none being too scary or explicit. Feel free to use them today for Halloween! I tried to get a wide variety of sizes this time, because I understand that everyone has different sizes when it comes to devices and desktops. If anything is too big or too small, please let me know and I will try to accommodate you! Later on, I will be making a post for Halloween Fest, Compiling everything that went on. So in case you couldn't catch anything, or just want to see a big overview, please check back later. I understand many people will want to see previews of the images before downloading the pack, or...

Hello everyone! Hopefully you are enjoying your summer! In order to spread the summer love around I've created a pack of wallpapers filled with anime pictures. The zip file will be split up into three folders, one with summer themed anime wallpapers, the other a folder for scenic pictures, and the last is a folder filled with yutaka. Again, I know that a lot of people don't wish to download random packs without seeing what's inside first, so here's a link to all of the images. I tried my best not to include anything questionable, though there might be a few swimsuits. Overall, there's nothing too revealing or unsafe. I'm still trying to find a nice wallpaper for my next desktop theme. If you're a person who loves customization, stay tuned. Until then, I'll see you guys later~ Click here to see the images! Click here to download the zip file! If you want to find the image's source, please click here.
