Hello everyone, and welcome back to another post! This post announces my return to blogging, while taking a little inspiration from the opening lyrics of my new favorite series: RWBY! The song is labeled as The Triumph , which is a fitting name for such an upbeat song. You can listen to the song below at the linked video. RWBY (expect more posts on RWBY soon), and the opening song The Triumph are inspiring to me. The song starts off from a defeated point of view, explaining the current situation and how things feel somewhat hopeless. Support the Artist! Hey everyone! I know it's been a long time since my last post. It's basically due to the fact that I've been extremely busy. Among all the chaos, I felt like I've forgotten something important; my blog. Without posting and interacting with my readers, my life feels like it's missing something very important. Without the blog, the visitors would not be able to gain any knowledge or insight. Both are necessary in order to be successful. Hello everyone, and long time no see! Yes, it's been a while since I've posted, I'm aware. (Technically almost a month.) I can say that I really hope I can start posting again soon, as things are finally settling down a little. So, you might be wondering where I've been and why content has trickled down over the past few months. Good morning and welcome to my first post of the new year. School is starting again for me soon, so a drop in content may be present as I get adjusted to my new schedule. Don't worry, it will only be momentary, and Shooting Star Dreamer will still be active. If anything, I hope for my school days to give me more to write about. Salutations and greetings everyone! So we've just entered December, temperatures are falling, and certain areas of the world are blessed with snow. When you come home from the cold and embrace the warm inside, how about checking out what I have in store for you guys? Throughout this month I really want to do things to share different forms of media with you all. Since we're nearing the holidays, I'll be posting quite a bit of holiday themed music. Hello everyone! Today's post will be pretty short. I haven't made many updates to my website recently, but I have a lot planned for the future! Please stay tuned, as I plan to do a lot of revamps, and overall make things a little easier to navigate. Any suggestions or user feedback would be greatly appreciated as well! So for the Blog Update this time, I'd just like to announce that I've finally gotten around to creating a simple  FAQ page. Hello again everyone! I guess you could call this my second Halloween Blog Update. Yesterday, Halloween Fest went on and I think things went really well. I wasn't able to do exactly everything I wanted, but I still liked how everything turned out. That being said, I would love to do another event like this again for another holiday. Since there isn't much to do for Thanksgiving, stay tuned, and you might see something for Christmas. Next time I will probably ask for some assistance, as doing everything by myself was a little hard! Hello everyone! So today I'm doing another blog update, as I mentioned in my last post. I really love the holiday season, and I want to do something to give back to my viewers. So throughout October 30th - October 31st, I'm going to do a few different "events" hosted on different social media accounts. If you don't follow me on all of them, no worries, I'll make a post here that will showcase pretty much everything. So what exactly am I going to be doing? It's Halloween which is a holiday I love, and anime is something else that I really love. So why not combine the two? Sorry about the lack of posts, but there's been so much going on lately, that I've had little time to just sit and think. I get most of my ideas from dreaming, like my blog's name. No, not literally dreaming at night, but day dreams and thinking about the future. I guess this post could be considered a blog update, but it's basically me just talking about my thoughts now that I've finally gotten the chance to sit and think about my blog, and anime of course. Although my individual posts may not get enormous amounts of views, the fact that my blog has now reached 50k total, is pretty stunning. Hello everyone! I have a lot to say this time around. If you've been following me on my social networks, then you're probably already informed of the things I'm announcing. If not, keep reading, there's a lot to say. First of all, I've started college again. No, I'm not sad or depressed that I'm in school, but instead I'm pretty happy. I get to continue with my college studies. More importantly, I get to learn more Japanese. So I might try to work some Japanese into my posts, and even teach my readers a bit. Aside from that, I get the chance to interact with tons of people who have similar interests, which is pretty great for sparking new post ideas. Hey guys! Usually I don't do more than one blog update per month, let alone one post per day, but I'm trying a few new things this time around. There's a few things I wanted to talk about during this update. First, I've been working on my gadget bar to the right. I understand that the follower gadget doesn't always appear, and that many people don't want to follow with their Google Accounts. Other people don't even have an account to begin with. So I've decided it would be better to change this way of following. Of course you can still access it through the gadget bar on the right or subscribe by email, but from now on it's best to click the link that says " Follow Me! " at the top of my page. Hello everyone! I understand that it's been a long time since my last post. Luckily, I have a lot of good things in store for you guys! While nothing is really being updated this time around, I just wanted to send out a quick post to say "hey, I still exist!" I'm currently participating in a local convention known in Metrocon. Aside from this, I've started college again, and it's somewhat time consuming. I'll most likely give my thoughts and summarize my experience at the convention. Until then, please be patient! I'm sure you've all noticed that there's been a recent lack of posts regarding anime. There's a good reason for this of course; I'm simply taking a break from anime. I believe that there's a possibility of having too much of a good thing, even when it comes to Japanese animation. So in order for me to enjoy and have fun with the new series that are currently airing and others which I wish to watch, a break is necessary! Still, don't let that get you down. I'm going to keep posting of course! I'm just getting a little tired of seeing the same trends in anime, reusing the different tropes, different plots with minor changes, and such. Hey everyone! I've decided to fix up (and hopefully improve) my blog. I'm just going to take the time to explain a few changes I've made. First up, I added dividers between my header links. Hopefully that makes them easier to read as the words tended to run together. I've been considering adjusting my blog to make use of my Facebook Header...though I'm not sure if it will look well. I adjusted the post background so transparency isn't a problem. I received a few complains about my posts being hard to read due to the transparency. I think white is a good color in contrast to the overall orange...but it seems a bit too plain. I might change it to a lighter orange/tannish color to help bring some life to my posts. Lastly, when entering my blog you would notice a gear depending on how long it takes to load. Recently I found a way to change this and replaced it with a gif. However, I'm not sure if this will cause unnecessary loading or not. If you exper...

It's December 30th, and we're finally reaching the end of the year. I have to say that this year has been quite hectic, at some points I didn't even know what to expect next. However, that didn't stop me. I made it through this year, and there's a lot to look back on. 2013 holds quite a lot for me, as this is the year I started running this blog. I'm up to almost 50 posts, and it seems pretty crazy thinking that I started blogging just a couple of months ago. I have to admit that I've come very far, but I want to take it even further. To do that I'll need the help of my readers. I just have a few New Year Resolutions for my blog and myself; things that I wasn't able to accomplish this year that I can in the future. Hello everyone, I've working under the hood with the blog again, and I've made a few noticeable changes. Hopefully, this makes the blog a bit more easy to navigate, as well as making the experience better for my viewers. Taking a look at the right sidebar, I've added a button to make it more convenient to follow me. I'm surprised that this went unnoticed for a while, but I've taken care of the problem.  First button at the top to follow. Another change I've made is to the comment system. I had no clue that comments required a verification code to comment. I think this is kind of silly, so it's removed for the time being. Anyone who wants to comment can do so now. On top of this I've cleaned up the title bar, by removing links that aren't really relevant anymore. As you can also tell from the picture above, the scroll bar has been fixed.
